Introduction

Certification and Dataset Quality tags have been introduced for Datasets in DvSum. By default, users cannot modify these tags. Additionally, the checkboxes for 'Require Note When Applying Tag' and 'Make Tags Prominent' are pre-selected. The Certification tag is represented in green, while the Data Quality tag appears in red. These tags have been pre-configured and cannot be altered.

Key Features

Require Note When Applying Tag

Enabling this option ensures that users must add a note when applying a tag.

Adding a tag without a note is not permitted.

Make Tags Prominent

When enabled, tags appear at the top of the page alongside Dataset/Term/Field names.

Tags are displayed in their assigned colors (Red, Green, Blue).

The default tagset color is Blue, but users can customize it.

Tagset Overview

Certification Tagset

The Certification Tagset includes only one tag:

Certified

On the Dataset detail page, clicking the Certify button redirects users to the Classification section, where the Certified tag is automatically applied.

Note: Users can also manually select a Classified tag from the Classification section.

When 'Require Note' is enabled, a text box prompts users to enter a Certified Tag note before applying it. After publishing the Dataset, the Certified tag appears alongside the Dataset name on the listing reference page.

Dataset Quality Tagset

The Dataset Quality Tagset includes the following tags:

Deprecated

Under Maintenance

Warning

Users can edit the Classification section and select any available tag from the Data Quality Tags. If 'Require Note' is enabled, clicking Apply prompts a text box to enter a note for the selected tag (e.g., Under Maintenance).

After saving and publishing the Dataset, the selected tag appears alongside the Dataset name on the listing reference page

Tag Note Details

Each Tag Note includes the following information:

Tag Name (Tagset Name)

Tag Description

Updated By (User Name)

Updated On (Date & Time)

Require Note for Tag (Yes/No)
